Clay and Danni Jacobs

Owners

Clay and Danni Jacobs have owned Parker-Jacobs Funeral Home since August 2019. Clay served as a funeral director and General Manager at Funeral homes in the Abilene area prior to being approached by Skip Parker about purchasing Parker Funeral Home. Danni is a dental hygienist, and has worked for Dr. Mark Sivley since 1998. The couple views funeral service as ministry, striving to continue the care given to families of Baird and the surrounding areas by the Parker Family.

Clay Jacobs

Funeral Director & Embalmer Prearrangement Agent

Clay was raised in the farming community of New Home, Texas. After retiring from a 22-year career with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, he completed his degree in mortuary science from Amarillo College, and has worked as a funeral director at funeral homes in the Abilene area. Clay is a licensed minister and sings Christian Country music. He and his wife, Danni, love spending time with their kids, Gilbert and Rachel, and granddaughers Ellie Jo and Faye Danielle.

Kelsey Tucker

Administrative Assistant and Prearrangement Agent

Kelsey joined the Parker-Jacobs team in May 2023 as Administrative Assistant. She is a licensed preneed agent and can assist with monument purchases.

She has an obvious passion for funeral service, and when not working, enjoys hanging out with her little family, taking care of her plants, listening to music, watching movies and taking care of her little farm she currently has going.
