Tony Marshall

Tony Adam Marshall of Merkel passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020, at the age of 56.

Tony was born December 9, 1963 in Abilene to Harman "Rooster" and Dottie Cupps Marshall.  He attended Abilene High School.  Tony was a carpenter by trade, loved fishing, and sharing a good joke.  He was a very patient and gentle man, an "old soul",  hard worker and great friend.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, grandparents and step-son Dusty Logan.

Survivors include his wife, Sheryl Price, of Merkel; children Tony Adam Marshall, Jr. and Lauren DeAnn Reese, both of Alabama, William Joseph Marshall and Colton Guy Marshall, both of Abilene; and step-daughter Wendy Logan of Abilene.

A memorial service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 506 Runnels Street in Merkel, at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 29, 2020. Due to current regulations concerning Covid-19, those attending are encouraged to practice social distancing and wearing of face coverings is recommended.
