Obituary
Terri Lynn Auger, born December 24, 1958, in Edinburgh, Scotland passed away peacefully on
Friday, June 30, 2023 at home on the Kriftner Ranch (Betcher House) in Oplin Texas. Terri
passed away after a brief illness from a Glioblastoma brain tumor.
She is survived by her daughter Christi Fields and husband Zachary Aron of Albuquerque, N.M.,
her grandson Weston Godfrey of New York City, N.Y., and her loving partner, Fred Kriftner of
Oplin, Texas and St. Margrethen, Switzerland. She is also survived by her mother Betty Speegle
of Cisco, TX, her brother Jim Speegle and wife Kay of Indiahoma, OK, and brother Gary Speegle
and wife Kim of Jonesboro, TX, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A private family memorial service will be held at the Kriftner Family Ranch at a later date. In
lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
