Russell Allen Burks

It is with profound sadness that I share the passing of my beloved husband, Russell Allen Burks, who left us December 28,2024 at the age of 61. He was surrounded by loving family members in his last moments.

Born in Abilene March 6, 1963, he attended Baird high school and worked in industrial and commercial HVAC his entire career.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert Lee Burks, his mother Jane Burks Holland, his brother Robert Burks, and sister Rebecca Burks.

He is survived by his wife Susan Butler Burks, brothers Randy, Rick, Rory, and Ryan Burks, sons Russell Burks and David Perales, daughters Robin Burks and Melody Perales. He also has seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Monday, January 6, 2025, at Elliott Hamil Garden of Memories Cemetery, 5701 US Hwy 277 in Abilene.
