Patsy Ruth (Ogle) Hennis

Patsy Ruth Hennis of El Paso passed away Friday, November 5, 2021, at the age of 89. 

Patsy was born August 31, 1932 in Gorman, Texas to A.M. and Lily Hamilton Ogle. She graduated from Gorman High School. She later attended Tarleton and graduated from University of Texas El Paso in 1971. She worked for US Boundary and Water Commission from 1971-1996 rising to Auditor and Chief Ethics Officer.  Patsy married David Hennis in 1952, and the couple celebrated 69 years of marriage November 1, 2021. 

She was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her husband, David Earl Hennis of El Paso; her son, Michael David Hennis, and daughter, Pamela Hennis Parks, both of Houston and her grandsons Daniel and Brandon Hennis of N. Carolina and Houston respectively.  

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Ross Cemetery Annex, Hwy 283 North in Baird.
