Naomi Edwards

Naomi Edwards of Baird went to be with her Savior during the early morning hours Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at the age of 82.

Naomi was born December 3, 1937 in Rising Star to Augustus Lewis and Grace Hill  Ogle.  She was a Social Butterfly and loved doing anything with her friends and family. She loved to play cards and games with her friends, dancing, cooking, crafting, and fishing  Naomi was such a caregiver. She was always putting others needs before her own. She was a friend to everyone.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lewis and Grace Ogle; her sister Dorothy Shirley; and a nephew Glen Tharp

Naomi is survived by her sons, John Edwards of Hobbs, New Mexico, and Garry and wife Kris Edwards of Ft. Stockton Texas; grandchildren Shay and Molly Lang of Tioga Texas, Bunky Edwards of Battlecreek Michigan, and Cutter Edwards of Hobbs New Mexico; five great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, and Several great nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be Friday, September 11, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Parker-Jacobs Funeral Home, 141 E. Third in Baird.  Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Ross Cemetery Annex on Hwy 283 North.
