Louise Manning of Baird passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024, at the age of 94.
Louise was born July 22, 1930 in Moran, Texas to Alexander Bryant Booth and Burnice T. Coats. She married Johnnie M. Manning on June 10, 1950.
Louise worked several types of jobs over the years including Hanner Pontiac and Chevrolet in Baird and Lawrence Brothers grocery store in Clyde. Louise was a member of the First Baptist Church in Baird and was one of the Kitchen Angels.
Survivors include her daughter, Beverly Rains, her son, Bryant Manning and Sheila, her daughter, Kay Stockton. Grandchildren John Michael Stockton and Deedee, BJ Rains and April, Misty Stockton, Lacey Rains and Ricky Chetney, Jackie Stockton, Amanda Taylor and Mike, and Blake Manning and Stacy. Great grandchildren Tifnie Hollander, Braxton Rains, Tyler Carper and Patricia, Bentley Callahan, Holly Taylor, Harper Taylor, Kaidy Walker, Logan Evans, Raiden Manning and Jalen Manning. Great greatgrandchildren Paige Hollander and Aspen Hollander. Niece Brenda Adams and James, Lucy Amphay, and nephew Keith Booth.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Johnnie Manning, brother and sister-in-law AJ and Billie Ann Booth, son-in-law John Wayne Stockton, granddaughter Brandi Stockton granddaughter in-law Hannah Stockton, great grandson Gavin Carper.
Graveside service will be held December 6, 2024 at 10:00 am at the Ross Cemetery Annex in Baird, with Jimmy Hatcher officiating.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Baird Volunteer Fire Department or the charity of your choice.
