Jon Lane Spaulding

Jon Lane Spaulding passed away Sunday, December 22, 2024, at the age of 73.

Jon was born December 8, 1951 in Baird to Dean and Clara Hardwick Spaulding. He attended school in Baird, Abilene and Hico. He was a very kind, outgoing person who loved being around people. In 2007, Jon moved to Abilene to a group home where he made many friends. He loved Clint Eastwood movies, country music and visiting with friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by three cousins, Crecia Reynolds of Baird, David Strickland of Dripping Springs and Martha Strickland of Abilene.

A memorial will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Parker-Jacobs Funeral Home. Jon's ashes will be buried next to his parents.at Ross Cemetery Annex.

The family suggests memorials in Jon's name to the hospice of your choice.
