Joe Gray Obituary

Joe Glenn Gray, 72, passed away on September 15, 2023, at Hendrick Medical Center. 

He was born January 13, 1951, in Clovis, NM, the son of Joe and Rena Mae (Whitehead) Gray.  Joe graduated from Clyde High School and upon graduation, served in the U.S. Air Force being stationed in the United Kingdom and later in California before returning to West Texas.  Joe retired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice as a Correctional Officer.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by Teresa Kaye (Hendricks) Gray, his wife of 25 years.  Surviving are his son, Brian Gray of Dallas, Texas; daughters, Heather  (Gray) Mitchell of Abilene, Texas; Michelle Gray of Abilene, Texas; Haley Gray of Abilene, Texas; several grandchildren and his brothers, Bobby Gray of Tullahoma, Tennessee and Bruce Gray of Clyde, Texas.
