Jessie C. Aguirre

Jessie C. Aguirre of Baird passed away peacefully Monday, November 2, 2020, at the age of 59.  He was born August 3, 1961 in Baird to Manuel and Oralia Aguirre.  

Jessie graduated from Baird High School, class of 1980.  Following graduation, he went to work for J.H. Strain Construction. He then went to work for Yates Construction, which later became Vulcan Construction Company. After a few years with Vulcan, he was employed by Clyde Independent School District. Jessie loved handling heavy equipment machinery.

He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel and his younger brother, Juan Aguirre.  Survivors include his mother, Oralia Aguirre; three brothers, Sergio Aguirre of Dallas, Hector Aguirre, and Joe Aguirre, both of Baird; a sister, Gloria Aguirre of Baird; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will bury his ashes at Ross Cemetery Annex in Baird at noon Sunday, November 8, 2020.  Following the burial, there will be a memorial gathering at the Baird Activity Center (Light Plant) at 208 Walnut in Baird.
