Helen Jean Warren

Helen Jean Warren of Abilene went to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at the age of 89.

Helen was born to Thomas and Pauline Mulkey. She grew up and graduated from DeRidder High School, then met Billy Warren, who was serving in the Army. Six weeks later they married and celebrated 69 years of marriage on April 1, 2023. She found joy and happiness being a homemaker, she dearly loved her kids and grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and 1 brother.  She is survived by her husband, Bill of Abilene, Bruce Warren of Estancia, NM, Robin McVay of Abilene, Jeana Miller of Winona, MN, and Sandra Warren of Abilene.

Graveside services under the direction of Parker-Jacobs Funeral Home will be 2:30 Friday, May 12, 2023, at Iberis Cemetery on Hardwick Road south of Abilene, with Rick Grant officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Hendrick Hospice.
