Foy Dean Kelly

Foy Dean Kelly of Baird passed away Monday, April 17, 2023, at the age of 70. 

Foy was born April 4, 1953 in Hamlin, Texas to A.L. “Mickey” and Carrie Jewel Essary Kelly. After graduating high school, Foy worked in dirt construction as owner of Kelly's Dirt Construction, as a truck driver and a mechanic.  He lived the cowboy way, and was former President of the Callahan County Sheriff’s Posse. 

Foy married Marie Wilson, and the couple would have celebrated 38 years of marriage in November. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Tracy Gilley. He is survived by his wife, Marie; daughters Deana Ebeling and husband Kevin, Angie Kelly, Christy Sims, and Michelle Adamez and husband Randy; sisters Lyn (Linda) Walker and husband Mike, and Gwen Calvin and husband Marvin; grandchildren Codie Guerrero (Savanna), Justin Guerrero, Dustin Guerrero, Devyn Ebeling (Lacie), Keva Ebeling, Kelly Ebeling, Abigail Gilley, Keyle Tucker, Dawson Tucker, Cody Adamez (Crystal), Ashley Huff (Jarred), and Keifer  Adamez (Bekah); 14 great grandkids; and his special fur baby of 12 years, Cutter.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday, April 21, 2023 at First Baptist Church, 240 Race Street in Baird, with Pastor David Acevedo officiating. Burial will be at Ross Cemetery Annex.
