Obituary

Edna Mae Gibson passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at the age of 69.

Edna, known as “Nanny” to friends and family, was born November 5, 1953 in Ohio to Burt and Beulah Mosler Feltner.  She later lived in Tennessee, where she worked for 28 years as a CNA.  She married Roger Lee Gibson, who preceded her in death in 2013.  She loved her family, and would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger and brothers Charlie and Jerry Feltner.

Survivors include her daughter Sheila Segura and husband Larry of Abilene; grandchildren  Amber Dobbins and husband Josh, Dawn Reed and husband Matt, Anthony Ayers and wife Maya, all of Tennessee, and Ashley Ayers of Texas; several great-grandchildren; sister Rose Feltner of Kentucky; and son Richard Gibson and Wife Dee Dee. Kenzie and Isabella.

Edna will be laid to rest with Roger at the Veterans Cemetery in Johnson City, Tennessee at 11:00 AM  Friday, August 25, 2023.
