David D. Davis

David was called home from this life on Friday, February 23, 2024. Born on August 27, 1960 to the late Lloyd and Louise Davis, David touched many lives. He married the love of his life, Lota, on May 21, 2005.

He enjoyed many things in life. Among those things were fishing, mowing, tinkering in his shop, loving on his grand babies, and aggravating his many family and friends, especially his two sisters. 

He didn’t care about material things, but instead filled his life with stuff money can’t buy like an incredible circle of family and friends. If you ever joined the family by way of marriage or friendship, you were never allowed to leave. Once a Davis, always a Davis. 

David was always willing to lend a hand to those in need and never passed up an opportunity to rescue someone stranded on the side of the road, whether he knew them or not.

He leaves behind many family members including his wife Lota; sisters Robbin and Debbie (Jerry); children: Tammy (Clint), Angela (Matthew), Ashley (Josh), Russell, Diania, Crystal, Amber, Ariel (Cody), Catherine, and Jonathan; grandbabies: Carson, Nathan, Coltin (Heather), Autumn, Brian, Ryan, Brittney, Aleigha, Harley, Jocilynn, Matthew, Darian, Alonzo, Noah, Zayeda, Katherine, and Janie; and two great grandbabies. 

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, February 26, 2024, at Parker-Jacobs Funeral Home.  Services will be 3:00 PM Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Parker-Jacobs Funeral Home Chapel, with Chad Gosnell officiating.  Burial will be at Ross Cemetery Spencer Price Addition.

Memorial donations for David can be made by dropping a line for him on your next fishing trip. Hopefully you’ll catch something to exaggerate about just as he always did.
