Charles David Lauw (charlie)passed away at Homestead Nursing and Rehab of Baird on February 14, 2021 at the age of 88.
Charlie was born in Yorktown, TX on May 13,1932 to John A. and Marie Schroedter Lauw. Charlie enjoyed visiting with friends over a cold one, dancing and charming the ladies at the dancehall, playing dominoes with his friends, and gardening was one of his all time favorite hobbies.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Bonnie Lauw; son Charles “Bubba" Lauw, and daughter Nancy Decker. He is survived by his daughter Stacie Tuggle and husband Bobby Tuggle of Clyde; grandchildren Shannon Newman, Bonnie Orr, Mary Lou Carpenter, Courtney Miller and Bubba Tuggle; great-grandchildren Mollie McClain, Morgan Mays, Mak Mays, James Orr, Joshua Orr, Robert Orr, Alisha Ferguson, Tyler Miller, Joseph Bertelson, Shania Cooley, Tanner Tuggle and Zane Tuggle; great great-grandchildren Carolina and Eric McClain, Isak, Amaya and Maliaha Ramos, Lilly Komec, Charli Bertelson and Brooklynn Terazon.
Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Parker-Jacobs Funeral Home, 141 E 3rd, in Baird. Burial will follow in Clyde Cemetery. Those attending are reminded of social distancing guidelines. Facial coverings are required.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to West Texas Rehab Center, St Jude Children's Hospital or your favorite charity.
