Billy Joe Wilson

Billy Joe Wilson, 76, of Abilene died Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at Hendrick Hospice Care Center. He was born March 11, 1949 in Tucumcari, New Mexico to Aaron H. and Ora Mae (Pyron) Wilson.

Billy married Jeannie Windham in January of 1971. She preceded him in death July 29, 2014. Billy enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jeannie, one brother, Wayne Wilson, and brother-in-law Ron Blankenship  .

Survivors include sisters Sue Blankenship of Abilene and Sharon Wilson of Dallas, brothers Jerry Wilson of Abilene and Gary Wilson and wife Pam of Brownwood, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Tecumseh Cemetery, with Mike Harkrider officiating.
