Billy Lee Cummings

Billy Lee Cummings of Kingsland passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at the age of 85.

Billy was born May 17, 1941 in Baird to William and Bertha Griffith Cummings.

He was in the SeaBees as a youth.   He worked in automotive dealers for many years and worked for AER manufacturing for over 20 years.

Billy married Jalie Charlene Shelton in February of 1960. They quickly made a family and life that stayed strong for 66 years of faithful marriage.  Billy lived a life of love and passed that on to his family in abundance. He built a family based on love and loyalty and we will miss him deeply.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife Jalie Charlene Cummings; sons Richard Lee Cummings and wife Karrie of Marble Falls, Roger Lance Cummings and wife Melissa of Cherokee, Rex Lane Cummings and wife Cindy of San Antonio; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and his sister, Sandra Cummings of New Mexico.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Friday, June 19, 2026, at Ross Cemetery Annex with David Acevedo officiating.
