Obituary
Billie Gean Wright left this life Monday, February 21, 2022, at the age of 88. She was born June 9, 1933 in Fort Towson, Oklahoma, to Marvin B. and Bertha Lee Ballard Steely.
She married Billy P. Wright on April 24, 1953 in Ballinger, Texas, and the couple was married 66 years before he preceded her in death in 2019.
Billie worked in the printing industry, and enjoyed reading, painting, drawing and decorating. She was an old saint...one of those type people you seldom see anymore.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy; her parents; a daughter, Beverly Gean Wright; her brothers, James Harold Steely and John R. Steely; and sisters Eva Lee Steely and Nora June Gaines.
She is survived by her son, Paul Wright of Abilene; grandchildren Jonathan Paul Wright and Scotty Eugene Wright; six great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, February 25, 2022 at Parker-Jacobs Funeral Home, 141 E. 3rd Street in Baird. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Ross Cemetery Spencer Price Addition.
